“Tired” is about the milieu we find ourselves in, exhausted by the sadness in the world around us, feeling totally helpless, but still so intimately connected to the suffering of people an entire world away from us. Every time we pick up our phones, or read the news, another heartache catches us. As much as we want to turn it all off and lay down and rest we can’t. So we just keep trying to hold it all together till it breaks us.
