Oak View Group (OVG), the owner and operator of the 11,000-capacity Acrisure Arena in Greater Palm Springs, CA, has entered into a partnership agreement to manage, program and seek out new sponsorship opportunities for the historic Palm Springs Theatre, as announced earlier today (Feb. 13). Restoration work on the theater will begin in March 2024, with completion expected in fall 2025. History Is Made at Acrisure Arena in Greater Palm Springs   The Inaugural Acrisure Classic set a new standard for Thanksgiving college hoops on FOX Sports. The clash between Michigan State Spartans and Arizona Wildcats set incredible records:  Drew 5,183,000 viewers  Most-watched college basketball game ever on FOX  Most-watched regular season game on any network since 2008.    Acrisure Arena drew NCAA fans from all parts of the country to attend the match-up in the Coachella Valley, turning our 11,000-capacity arena into a sea of Green and Red.    The 2024 Acrisure Classic will feature many more amazing teams, of which USC and SDSU have already been announced for November 28 & 29, 2024. Tickets onsale at a future date.   A special shout out to all of the amazing event staff at Acrisure Arena for kicking off this popular new Thanksgiving tradition.
